Lower bar for software, higher bar for products

Resources have always been a bottleneck for open source. LLMs and skills like REA are changing that fast.

As a prosumer, I’m excited about tools like PhotoCraft and the possibility of simply vibe-coding what I need.

But the business implications are even more interesting. As functionality becomes easier to replicate, competitive advantage increasingly comes down to trust, reliability, and customer experience.

The bar for building software is getting lower. The bar for building a great product is getting higher.
